Initial Consultation - Typical timeline: Week 0
At our first meeting we’ll chat about your ideas and dreams. You’ll be describing your ideal home, perhaps showing us some ideas or pictures of other homes that have inspired you. We’ll ask a few general questions to get the information we need to take us to the next step. There is no charge for this meeting.
Varcon Response - Typical timeline: Week 1
At our next meeting we’ll come back to you with a rough plan and an order of cost. This is an estimate based on what you have told us and our calculations in the meantime. At this stage we can work out together whether the project is achievable within your budget. Again, there is no charge for this meeting. If you’re happy to take the next step, to further refine and develop a set of sketch plans, there is a charge for this design service –however it’s fully incorporated into the cost for the finished job.
Sketch Plan - Typical timeline: Week 2
Now the excitement begins! Our designer will present you with a set of developed sketch plans and work through some of the options and alternatives.
Design Refinement - Typical timeline: Week 6
Here’s where we work though every detail of the design and construction of your new home. This stage can involve a number of meetings – we want your dream home to be exactly as you are imagining it! You might like to take advantage of our complimentary Feng Shui consultant as you think about the layout and orientation of your new home.
Fittings & Finishes - Typical timeline: Week 8
Now’s the time to think about fittings – from door handles and lighting to basins and kitchens – and finishes, tiles, paint colours and more. The services of our complimentary interior designer are available to help you create exactly the effect you want. When this is finished, you’ll find your dream home has been built on paper!
Approvals & Permits - Typical timeline: Week 10
We’ll look after all of these, dealing with local councils, authorised bodies and other authorities to ensure that everything is done by the book.
Construction - Typical timeline: Around week 38
Within 28 days of the signing of the contract we’ll be onsite and construction will begin. You’ll receive regular reports and are welcome to visit the site at any time – however, owing to Occupational Health & safety requirements, please phone us first to arrange a time for your builder to meet you there.
Hand Over Congratulations! Now all you have to do is move in and enjoy the space, style and comforts you’ve been dreaming of!
